Simran at Sharp Insurance was so helpful. It’s no wonder why she’s recommended at Whalen Mortgage Fort McMurray. I tried to stick with my usual broker company but was given bad news that a few insurance companies wouldn’t cover us due to having wildfires within 50km. He did find one but they had conditions for replacement and wouldn’t cover Guaranteed full replacement coverage only perils. Simran on the other hand got one of the companies who denied me through the other company to approve our coverage with unlimited replacement costs and excellent limits and liabilities for all the perils we need and had no replacement conditions based on items in the home. I went from sweating bullets to being relieved and put at ease within minutes of our desperate call as this was needed to take possession of our new home in a few days.

These folks actually listened to me. Rather than asking baseless questions. Very professional. Navdeep was a great and sympathetic person to my needs. He was able to find me the best rate with the best coverage that fit my lifestyle.

For 2 months now I've been requesting help since the app will not allow me to sign in on either cell phone I own. I have reset the password over 5 times at shaps request (the only thing the offer as advice for fixing the issue that doesn't get solved) and 5 times I've uninstalled and reset the password on my own I still can not access  my account through the app on either of my 2 cell phones really a shame and am let down after months of asking for help I just continuely get told to reset the password but can't access my issuance documents. Guess it's time to look for a new brokerage that can provide me with access to important documents when needed.As of right now current 9 year customer saying use other companies that care about their clients and hold to their word of calling back after looking into something.OldOver the last few days I've been talking with Tarek Younan, he has been vary helpful in figuring out what kind of commercial insurance coverage best works for me. Knowing I have afew tickets and an accident, I've had some extremely high quotes and have been told I couldn't get full coverage. When I called Tarek worked his magic an found me an unbelievably fair rate with full coverage. He was quick to send documents and worked with my schedule for call backs. Tia Nelson (the client care representative) has been very helpful and professional. She helped me settle my missed payment after I switched to a new insurance company, which could have been devastatingly painful if I had to pay the insurance company for a whole year as a penalty. When she immediately called me back after our first conversation, I had this feeling that she wouldn't just leave me waiting for a penalty note. She called the insurance right away to justify my circumstances and listened to her where in the end I was paying for the amount due, not the whole year. People like her could make a difference in your life.

I am a sharp customer for 9 years since I landed in Canada, they are good and responsive, however being close on both Saturday and Sunday is not a very convenient practice for its customers, moreover a bigger pain point is that their on-call wait time for a new customer and an existing customer vary by a large number which seems totally unfair and feel like exploitation of existing customers, I hope they will look into this, they do charge top dollars for their service so a better turn around seems like need of the hour.

I was with multiple other brokers for years, they never suggested anything in the way of savings or went out of their way for me. Coming to sharp insurance due to my wife's patronage. Overall Sharp is a good broker, but I would ask that wait times on the phone be shorter.
