This led Sharp Insurance to start their own broker-Tech company, Trufla Technology, powering brokers across the country and beyond to harness the power of digital to serve their customer better, faster and smarter.
The Technology
Trufla’s truMobile platform, an online customer service and mobile app platform designed for ease of customer self-service, is one the most proliferated tools in Canada today. The platform allows insurance brokerages to manage their customers in one broker portal. They can quickly pull any lists and reports to truly communicate with and understand their customers. Conversely, the customer can view and manage their insurance independently from the insurance broker.
How It Works
The Property Management Insurance Portal is a three-fold system that takes key elements from truMobil and marries them into the workflow and tools used by property managers today.
The Data Source – Property Management System
- All tenant information is pulled from the Property Management System such as Yardi
- It is then sent to Trufla(FTP) in a CSV format with fields that have been predetermined
The Portal
- Trufla provides the customer/property management/broker portal
- Trufla provides login credentials for clients, brokers and property managers
- Trufla provides insurance documents
- Automatically registers customers via FTP
The Insurance
- Sharp Insurance arranges the insurance with the syndicate
- Sharp Insurance will provide all customer care and claims support
