How to submit a quote through SharpOne

Our easy-to-use, proprietary leads management platformSharpOne, allows you to submit quotes in under a minute. With our tool, you can track the progress of your client’s insurance, see how many quotes you’ve submitted, and how many of those quotes turned into Sharp customers!

Setting Up Your Account 

We will create an account for you, and you will receive a link to set up your password via email. If you have not received your account information, please email us at [email protected] 

How to Submit a Quote

Step 1: Log In

Log in to your portal at dealer.sharpone.ca 

Step 2: Create a New Client

On the left side of your screen, you will see a vertical navigation menuhit the “Create Client” option.

Step 3: Enter Client Details

You will be taken to the “Personal Info” screen where you can enter the following information: 

  • Full name of your customer 
  • Driver’s license number and Province (not required but strongly recommended to speed up quote process) 
  • Contact information (email and phone) 
  • Hit the “New Lead” button

 
Step 4: Type of Quote

You can choose what type of insurance quote you want your customer to receive from us. You can choose both home and auto, just home, or just auto. 

Step 5: Vehicle Quote Info  

We strongly recommend you add the VIN to the vehicle information page. It will allow our brokers to give an accurate quote as quickly as possible. If you do not have the VIN, you can enter the year, make and model of the vehicle.  

Step 6: Optional Property Quote Request

  • Under “Property Quote”, fill in the address of your customer’s home 
  • Select whether they rent or own the property. 
  • Hit the create button.

 
Success! You have now submitted your quote! 

Timelines

Tracking Your Customer’s Insurance Quote Progress 

Once you’ve successfully submitted your quote request, on that same page, you will see a timestamp of when you’ve submitted the quote and a progress timeline. You can always go back to that customers profile to track the progress. You will see status updates such as: 

  • Assigned to broker  
  • Broker gets estimate (broker has received the details they need from the customer in order to shop for insurance quotes) 
  • Quoted (broker gives customer the quote) 
  • Bound (customer purchases insurance) 

 
Track All Your Quotes 

You can also see all your quote requests on the main dashboard page. Simply hit the “Dashboard” button on the vertical left menu, then select at the top, “Recent Quotes” and you will see your list. The list will include progress bars as well.   

To view details, click on your customer’s name.
